Kate Shortt is a comedienne, cellist, singer, songwriter, pianist and poet whose work embraces many genres including Jazz, Classical, Theatre, Rock, Portuguese fado and Contemporary. Kate studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has worked with very many performers including Tears for Fears, Take That and Peter Green’s Splinter Group.  She also plays regularly with Christine Tobin, Phil Robson, Liam Noble, John Etheridge, Orphy Robinson etc etc. Kate is a hugely entertaining cabaret performer who combines musical ability with wit and humour bringing ‘…Emotionally rich songs, thoughtful harmonies, and heartfelt reflections on life’ (M.U.
